Daily Green Smoothie

One of my best friends got me on a daily smoothie kick and now, this smoothie has become my go-to breakfast! This smoothie fulfills that craving for a little something sweet, but is also filled with nutrients to keep my body regulated. It’s filled fiber, some protein, and fruits which bring in sweetness. You can definitely tailor this smoothie to your tastes or needs, but it’s a great base to start from!

Daily Green Smoothie

  • 1 cup spinach (packed)
  • ¼ cup frozen blueberries
  • ¼ cup frozen mango, pineapple, strawberries
  • ½-1 inch ginger (peeled)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter or about 10 almonds (if using almond butter, it shouldn't have sugar and other additives)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup water
  1. Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.

Sometimes I like to add turmeric and chia seeds as well.

Frozen fruits are key to balancing the consistency of the smoothie.

It may look a little more purple or brown once blended, but it turns green after sitting for 5 or so minutes.
